The Alchemy Meditation is also known as Felt Sense Meditation. Philosopher Eugene Gendlin originally developed the concept of  felt sense in the 1960s, which functions as a connection between the mind and body.

The Author of Waking the Tiger: Healing Trauma and Founder of Somatic Experiencing, Peter Levine PhD, integrates the felt sense within his work. Kim McConaghy has been in practice, educated and certified in Alchemy/Felt Sense Meditation through Alchemy of Breath.
